Best-Selling author Carrie Doyle (Karasyov)’s latest books are DEATH ON WINDMILL WAY and DEATH ON LILY POND LANE, the first two installments in the HAMPTONS MURDER MYSTERY SERIES. “An appealing, three-dimensional heroine…clever plot twists…an enjoyable, quick read,” states Kirkus Reviews.
Carrie is a native New Yorker. In 1996, at the age of 23, she became the founding Editor-in-Chief of the Russian edition of Marie Claire, thus becoming the youngest Editor-in-Chief of an international magazine in the world.
Carrie and Jill Kargman, her friend from the Spence School and the Taft School, are the co-authors of five books, including The Right Address and Wolves and Chic Clothing, both National Best-Sellers that were translated into 9 languages. They also co-wrote and produced the independent movie Intern, which premiered at Sundance in 1999. In addition, they sold screenplays to Paramount, Showtime, Oxygen, Nickelodeon, and other studios.
Doyle lives in New York City and East Hampton, New York with her husband and two sons. She is a Contributing Editor of Hamptons Magazine. She likes paddle tennis, tennis, golf (sometimes), jigsaw puzzles by Charles Wysocki, Top Chef, cooking, books by Michael Connelly, Sue Grafton, Liane Moriarty and Agatha Christie and rewatching 30 Rock and Arrested Development.
Look out for DEATH ON WEST END ROAD, the third book of the HAMPTONS MURDER MYSTERY SERIES, to be released this June.
